Beautiful vintage powder compact with incredible fabric rose set in Lucite/Resin on the top. Pop this beauty open to see the mirror intact but a few tiny black age spots. Then there is the original powder applicator which is a soft pink. Then un-pop the second cover to find the vintage face powder.......oh the scent is incredible and bring memories of my Grandmother flying back to me. I do not recommend using the face powder as standards have changed since the 1950s and there may be some ingredients that are not suitable to apply to your skin.
There is some wear and scuffing to the underside.
The powder can be removed and replaced with your own and then this incredible compact is ready to serve again. Pop it in your handbag and you're good to go bringing a touch of vintage class wherever you go.
*** My items are all vintage and have had a life before I found them. I find my vintage items in a number of places and so I am unable to say whether they have been near pets or smokers etc, what I can say is that since they have been with me they have lived in a smoke free house. I also have 2 pampered cats so there is a small chance Kitty or Harry may have dropped a hair near one of my pieces. Hopefully I have managed to remove any chance of that happening by keeping my items in a room out of bounds of them (they are not happy with this arrangement lol)***
