Displaying a charming scene of rural Italian life, this piece is from the famous De Simone family of Sicilian ceramic artists. Handmade and hand painted in Palermo, Sicily, Italy.
Please see the photos which form part of the description. There is some very minor crazing which is common in Desimone works, I have shown it in the photos.
Beautiful piece and will add instant charm or mid century accent to any living space.
*** My items are all vintage and have had a life before I found them. I find my vintage items in a number of places and so I am unable to say whether they have been near pets or smokers etc, what I can say is that since they have been with me they have lived in a smoke free house. I also have a very pampered cat so there is a small chance Mr Harry may have dropped a hair near one of my pieces. Hopefully I have managed to remove any chance of that happening by keeping my items in a room out of bounds to him (this is not an arrangement he’s happy with lol)***
